Feld Entertainment’s charitable contributions
build on the strengths and values of the company. Whether it is in youth and
education, civic and human services, or animal care and conservation, Feld
Entertainment Inc., strives to be an exemplary corporate citizen.
In each community that Feld Entertainment visits, the company gives
contributions whether cash or in-kind, to organizations that assist underserved
individuals.
“Our productions create memories, stimulate the imagination and touch the
heart.” – Kenneth Feld, Chairman and CEO
Since 2003, close to $5.5 million in tickets have been donated to numerous
non-profit youth organizations across the country thus providing over 330,000
underserved children the opportunity to attend our live entertainment
productions and performances of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®
Circus, Disney On Ice and Disney Live!
Feld Entertainment is very involved in outreach bringing performers to local
hospitals, schools and libraries in almost every community visited to help put
smiles on the faces of children who do not have the means to attend a
performance.
Feld Entertainment is proud to support a host of charities including the Ronald
McDonald House Charities, the American Red Cross, the Girl Scouts of America,
the Special Olympics, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, Head Start, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the YMCA, just to name a
few.
Feld Entertainment also partners with service organizations such as
Ticketmaster’s Tix for Tots, Community Access Ticket Service and Tickets for
Kids Charities contributing over 25,000 tickets to disadvantaged individuals
throughout the country.
Feld Entertainment contributed tickets supporting Tampa General Hospital
Foundation’s 15th Annual Night at the Circus which allowed more than 1,000
children to see the Ringling Bros. all-new 136th Edition.
Feld Entertainment is a regular participant in the Toys for Tots drive,
donating over $7 million worth of toys to children in need throughout the
country, including more than 30,000 toys in 2005. In addition to the
substantial annual gift Feld Entertainment donates to Toys for Tots, the
company has worked with “The Today Show” toy drive, which benefits
organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs on military bases and the
Children’s Aid Society in New York City.
Continuing its commitment to the community, in 2005 Feld Entertainment donated
$100,000 to The American Red Cross for rescue and relief efforts for the
victims of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2005, Ringling Bros. announced a $180,000 gift to the Smithsonian
Institution's National Zoological Park to support research on endotheliotropic
herpes viruses (EEHV) -- the single greatest health threat to the Asian
elephant today.
Ringling Bros. also expanded the company’s long-standing relationship
with the military by becoming an Official Team Member of America Supports You.
This partnership allows the company to broaden its support with special
recognition of military members during a performance and provides families with
special ticket offers.
