Wednesday, January 13, MADRID – The touring production, Disney Live! presents Three Classic Fairy Tales shattered records last week while performing in Madrid, playing to more than 77,000 people in only four weeks. At an astounding average of ninety percent capacity per show at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid, the engagement outshines numbers for the Disney Live! brand in its nearly six years of touring the globe with five unique productions.

“This crowning achievement for Disney Live! lets us know that despite the economy, wholesome entertainment is still important to families even as they are cutting back. They know that they are getting an authentic, high quality theatrical experience for their money,” said Horacio Renna, Feld Entertainment’s Regional Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Iberia and Latin America. “Disney Live!’s proven resiliency makes us optimistic about the future.”

The fourth Disney Live! instalment, Three Classic Fairy Tales premiered in China in 2008 with stops in Japan, Mexico, Korea and Southeast Asia before its European debut in Spain last Fall.
