Position: Art Supervisor

Description:
The Art Supervisor is the Marketing & Creative Services primary point of contact for the RBBB and DOI&S brand marketing groups when graphic materials arrive from outside agencies. Coordinates and facilitates moving the materials into the production process, initiates the order to get the materials ready for localization and secures any necessary approvals. Project manages, from inception to approval, the production of custom print and/or web materials developed by the department. Coordinates the creative and informational updates of all program book reprints.
Duties:
1)   Coordinate the process of graphic materials arriving into and/or being developed by the Marketing & Creative Services department. This involves working with many areas within the Marketing department to ensure deadlines are determined, adjusted as necessary, communicated throughout the department and ultimately met to deliver marketing materials to support ticket sales.

This includes but is not limited to the following items:

a) Domestic Engagement Marketing Materials: newspaper ads, line art, games, trayliners, teachers kit's, FSIs, patches, FTP thumbnail sheets, PR backdrops, standee's, posters for Lobby.

b) Web Materials Domestic & International: E-buzz, Ticketmaster, AOL, Title Ads, 3rd party images, splash pages and skyscraper ads.

c) Corporate Materials: sponsorship kits, CEC materials (folder, letterhead, mailing labels), DVD slip sheets, holiday cards, business cards, recruitment flyers, brochures and calendars.

d) International Marketing Materials: ordering and shipping items from stock, tracking and pricing orders, keeping pricing and request records, art requests, job requests, settlement sheets

2)   Research, coordinate and implement solutions to custom print requests.
3)   Coordinate the updates for program books reprints for Feld Consumer Products.
4)   Prepare comprehensive cost estimate prior to the start of a project.
Requirements:
1)   AA or BA degree in graphic or communication arts.
2)   At least 2 -3 years experience working in a design and print production environment.
3)   Very strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively receive creative direction from outside sources and accurately transfer the direction to the design and production team.
4)   Flexibility, not easily flustered by changing priorities, able to handle multiple projects.
5)   Working knowledge of industry standard graphic software packages (Quark, In-design, Photo Shop, etc.)
6)   Working knowledge of 4-color print production.
