The Audio/Video Manager is responsible for the advance coordination and onsite execution of all production aspects including, but not limited to, lighting, audio and video playback content, and coordination of cameras and records, for the events assigned.

Essential Job Functions
  • Advance coordination of all audio and video needs.
  • Load in and set up front of house each week including the video switcher and audio mixer.
  • Operate the video switcher during live events.
  • Lead the venue staff including the producer, director, technical director, camera operators, graphics operators, and video and audio engineers.
  • Oversees all aspects of the onsite production by managing the event format, directing hosts, and executing all game presentation objectives. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned, i.e., producer, technical director, stage manager, graphics operator, etc.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required, college degree in communications, broadcast journalism, media studies, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a live production environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of a control room environment, including broadcast cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, graphics machines, etc.
  • Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work in high pressure environments.
  • Understanding of signal flow and knowledge of audio/video cables, connector/adapters, video recording media, and event production techniques.
  • Knowledge of Mac operating system and Playback Pro, Photoshop, Audition, and Premier Pro software preferred.
  • Self-motivated with time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb stairs, and stand for an extended period of time.
  • Willingness to travel.

Working as part of a team of dedicated professionals, the Assistant Performance Director is charged with maintaining a consistently high level of performance quality and assisting in making changes in the performance and performance related events in conjunction with the Performance Director, when necessary, considering the immediate needs of the show.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of production and performance quality.
  • Responsible for communicating all technical and artistic issues to the Performance Director and Production Stage Manager in a productive way to enhance the quality of each performance as it relates to the original intent of the production from the Producers.
  • Partners with the Production Stage Manager and Performance Director to coordinate and conduct daily production meetings, as needed, for the purpose of ensuring the overall quality presentation of the Show.
  • Assists Performance Director and Production Stage Manager with daily schedule.
  • Responsible for maintaining any pre/post-show events, as needed.
  • Partners with the Performance Director for the purpose of organizing and planning weekly schedules which includes, but is not limited to, rehearsal/training planning; performer staffing for shows; and development needs for cast.
  • Ability to clearly express Show and Company expectations and enforce rules, regulations and guidelines set forth by Feld Entertainment.
  • Responsible for supporting auditions as needed and providing comprehensive information regarding prospective talent to Casting Team.
  • Responsible for assisting Director, Choreographer, members of the Creative Team and Performance Director during rehearsals, as well as maintaining communication with Manager and Production Coordinator in order to effectively coordinate the rehearsal period.
  • Supports and aides in succession planning for the advancement of prospective internal leadership candidates.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum five years related experience or equivalent combination of training, education and/or experience in the field of circus as it relates to creative, technical, and touring.
  • Must have a valid Passport.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally and domestically 100% of the time.
  • A full and comprehensive understanding of the functions and operations of a large-scale arena show, technical elements, automation, and performers.
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate choreography, to teach blocking, staging and follow through with Character development.
  • Strong understanding of cueing, cueing with automation, and contingency adaptive cueing.

The Swing Technician works backstage assisting in scene changes, stage cues, and show presets determined by the Production Stage Manager in conjunction with the guidelines of best practices during performances. Qualifications
