The A/V Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Monster Jam live event presentation, including but not limited to video, audio, lighting, graphics, and in-event content.  The A/V Operations Manager will creatively contribute to the development of the overall approach of the in-venue A/V environment and also support the logistical needs of the tours with regards to equipment, streaming, file sharing, and storage.  
Essential Functions
  • Contribute to and build upon the overall approach of Monster Jam live event presentation with an emphasis on creating compelling and entertaining audio and video content designed to excite, energize, and educate fans. 
  • Provide guidance and oversight to A/V staff on all Monster Jam tours to ensure streamlined communication and a consistency in presentation across tours
  • Manage all inventory used to produce and display live event content, including but not limited to computers, switchers, converters, cables, cameras, recording and transmitting equipment. 
  • Liaise with Feld’s Broadcast, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, and Global Partnership teams to implement initiatives into live events in a consistent, streamlined manner. 
  • Work with Tour Management to identify, source, onboard and train touring audio/video staff
  • Manage software and music licenses. 
  • Manage documentation of venue production capabilities and event reports 
  • Keep current with game presentation themes across other sports and entertainment properties. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 4-5 years of progressive audio/video or television experience, particularly in a motorsports, sports team, or entertainment venue setting.
Skills & Abilities
  • Fluency in computer programs designed to produce and display audio and video, for example - Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, QLabs, Playback Pro, and the MS Office Suite 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to travel domestic and international approx. 25% of the time
